Lumen Studio

Lumen designs lighting for museums and public spaces — work that is invisible until you stand inside it. Their website needed to make that atmosphere tangible on a screen. We designed an interface built on darkness: projects emerge from a near-black canvas, hover states bloom like a dimmer being raised, and case studies scroll like a walk through the finished space.

We art-directed the photography retouch, defined the interaction spec down to easing curves, and worked alongside their developer through launch.
